5 Awesome Toronto Date Night Ideas
Whether you’re going on your first date or booking a night out with your spouse, Toronto has many date day or night hot spots.
If you’re looking for something unique to do with that special someone, here are some amazing Toronto outings:
1. High Park Zoo (Deer Pen Road)
Take a stroll along this Toronto small zoo, which contains barbary sheep, emu, West Highland cattle, reindeer, peacocks and more. Zoo hours are 7am until dusk and it’s open all year. Admission is free and so is parking (which means you can save a few dollars for dinner!).
2. Crown Flora Studios (740 Queen Street West)
If you and your partner share a love for nature and gardening, this is the Toronto outing for you. Sign up for a terrarium workshop, which includes a glass container, materials, decorations, plants and tools. Within two hours, you’ll learn how to create your own open terrarium.
3. Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada (288 Bremner Boulevard)
Check out the Aquarium’s “Friday Night Jazz” event, which happens on the second Friday of each month. Be amazed by the sights of jellyfish, sharks and stingrays, while enjoying the energetic sounds of live music. A romantic Toronto experience indeed!
4. EdgeWalk at the CN Tower (301 Front Street West)
If you’re seeking an adventure, then walk 16 storeys above ground – along the ledge of the CN Tower’s main pod! Get a view of Lake Ontario like you’ve never seen before while trained guides help you test your limits. With your ticket price, you’ll also receive a photo and video of your EdgeWalk experience.
5. Archery District (770 Birchmount Road)
If you think tag is just for kids, guess again! At the Archery District, you can get a workout by playing archery tag with foam arrows. To make sure you get an awesome game, turns this into a group date; the Archery District recommends having at least 6 players for the full effect.
Out of these Toronto date outings, which one will you try? Share this article with your friends to give them some new ideas, too!
